Fee Structure

I offer my services at an hourly at a rate or a flat fee per room with services outlined below.

Free Consultations

Yes - the first consultation is free. The $75 charge is paid at the time of the first consultation along with a $25 traveling fee. After you have made a deposit for consultation fees or window treatments - the $75 is deducted from your total invoice. This allows me to service customers who are truly serious about decorating their space.

Basic Package

Basic services include and are limited to assisting with choosing wall color, accent pieces such as art, accessories, and window treatments. Placing the art and accessories as well as coordinating wall colors with window treatments and other furnishings. Basic decorating services also includes re-positioning existing furnishings and accessories to give your room a fresh new look. This package includes three consultations and should not exceed more than ten hours of service.

Standard Package

The Standard Package includes everything in the Basic Package PLUS procuring furniture, rugs, antiques and artwork. Contracting appropriate vendors for basic light fixture changes, home theater installation as well as home network installations. Hardware selection and changes throughout the house (door knobs, drawer pulls, etc...). This package includes six consultations and should not exceed more than 25 hours of service.

Standard Plus Package

The Standard Plus services include everything in the Standard Package PLUS assisting in selection of fixtures, custom upholstery, and procuring custom furniture and rugs. Contracting appropriate vendors for installations such as flooring, cabinetry, etc. This package includes ten consultations and should not exceed more than 50 hours of service.

Packages can be modified to fit your personal needs and services falling outside of these packages will need to be addressed on a case by case scenario. All Packages require 50% retainer upon initiation of the job, 25% due upon delivery of the majority of goods and services and the remaining 25% due upon completion. All Hourlly Fee jobs are required to be paid as invoices are presented (usually bi-monthly).

The fees for decorator services are not counted toward purchase of any items for the clients' homes.
The client does get a designer discount when applicable towards goods purchased through Knikkolette Interior Decorating.
