Hi - I'm Knikkolette Church and I was born in Seoul, South Korea as Joy Ann Chu to a Korean mother and an American soldier father. Being adopted and raised by an "American" family, I was not exposed to my Korean culture until later in life. My family did, however change my Korean name to a more traditional name, Jo Ann. I attended a very small university in a small rural town in Oklahoma where the majority of the people I met thought I was Native American Indian. I began my formal training in the arts at my home-town university in Durant, Oklahoma, and continued with my education in Dallas, Texas, and Jacksonville, Florida. Growing up -
I never felt the name Jo Ann quite "fit" - so when I moved
out I changed my name while living in Dallas, working for an interior
design firm as a free-lance designer and artist. I currently work as
an interior designer and commission paintings and sculptures and paint
murals when requested. I have been working with clients to beautify
their homes for several years focusing recently on window treatments,
but I have the educational and real-life experience with interior design
to help anyone decorate their home from builder "vanilla"
to "magazine cover fabulous". |

I prefer to dedicate my time to a few choice clients to give them the best one-on-one service possible. Finding a trustworthy, dependable, skilled contractor is difficult. For many - customer service has become a lost art. I believe the process of beautifying your surroundings should not be a stressful one. I handle the coordination of hiring the highest quality, reputable craftsmen in their field. I get to know them and work with them before referring them to any of my clients to ensure each job is clean, professional, and successful from start to finish. I know the best form of advertisement is word-of-mouth so I do what it takes to complete each job in a timely and professional manner. When I'm not working I love to spend time with my family, hiking through the great Georgia mountains, go white water rafting, or snow skiing. |
